Franky's Pocha [Closed]

Went back to Franky's Kaffe again...3rd time within a month. But this time round, it is for a proper Korean dinner.

Although only 3 side dishes were served, these side dishes were really yummy. We had a round of refill. Loved the kimchi, which has the right crunchiness and sourless which was just right for my liking.

The 3 of us shared the Kimchi Stew ($25). We had a choice of adding pork or tuna into the stew and we chose pork. The ingredients in the stew included kimchi (of course), pork (of course) enoki mushroom, tofu, chilli, chilli padi, onion etc.

The stew took a while to cook and for the kimchi soup to become flavourful.... It was a little bland and we almost wanted to add the kimchi side dish into the stew. We had a refill of the soup and the soup finally tasted good towards the end.

The seafood pancake ($18) was quite disappointing. Firstly, we waited too long for it and it was finally served when we already finished half of the stew. Disappointingly, the pancake dough was not completely dry and crispy and the pajeon taste was absent.

Do note that rice ($2) had to be ordered separately from the ala carte dishes. Do also note that they will also take a while to "cook" the rice! We waited for probably 10 to 15 mins....

Despite the long wait and disappointment, I think I will still be back to try other dishes =)
The "Coffee Prince atmosphere" does create some disillusion that you're in Korea... except for the warm weather.
