Chicken Parmesan @ Amici Italian Restaurant

Was at Amici Italian Restaurant in Holland V yesterday. This is probably my 3rd time there and simple love the food.
Their set lunch is really reasonably price for the food quality you get, starting from $10.90. They also have $8 express special which does does not come with soup and coffee & tea.
I had the Parmesan Chicken served in lemon oil. Between soup and salad, I went of the soup of the day, which was Cream of Cabbage. My colleagues were initially very skeptical if Cream of Cabbage would be good, but it turned out to be really good. Highly recommended!!

Here's my Parmesan Chicken, served in 2 relatively huge chucks of chicken breast meat with slices of potato and carrot and pieces of broccoli and cauliflower. The chicken was quite tender and tasty.

The restaurant was also very generous to offer us tiramisu for our birthday 'boy' and 'girl'.
Great place for gatherings with friends. We had 16 of us there yesterday and given an exclusive corner away from the main section of the dining area.

Popeyes Chicken & Biscuit @ T3

Popeyes has opened a new outlet and yes, it is in the airport again which I can't understand why they can only be found at the 3 terminals and not anywhere else in Singapore. In T3, it is located just next to the Kopitiam foodcourt at Basement 2.

For a 4-piece set meal ($13.95), it comes with 4 pieces of chicken, 2 drinks, 3 side dishes and 2 biscuits (and jam). Side dish selection include fries, mash potato, coleslaw or redbean rice. Not all may like the red-bean rice cos the taste is a little unusual. You'd either love it or hate it.

Sakae Sushi @ T2

After a not-so-satisfying tea @ T3, dinner at T2 was back at Sakae again but Sakae Sushi this time round.
The Gyoza Kimuchi Soup did not disaapoint me. Love the sour kimchi soup taste + the fish cake + crispy gyoza.

Lobster salad - lots of lobster meat in the salad. Quite fresh but it was served cold, a little too cold for me to enjoy this dish. But something that almost freaked me out was the roe in the salad. Now, I wonder how many many lobsters I have killed.

Sakae Teppanyaki @ T3

Located at Level 3 of T3, was there for tea last week.
Ordered the Chocolate Cheese Cake and a Green tea latte with ice cream...

Should I say that the cheese cake has an acquired taste or is this traditional japanese type of chocolate cheese cake. Anyway, not my type of taste.

The only saving grace for this green tea latte with ice cream was the vanilla ice cream... can't seem to appreciate this as well. Perhaps I should have mixed the ice-cream with the tea well before drinking. Oh well...
